This mount is very sturdy and was perfect for use inside an entertainment unit, allowing us to bring the LCD screen to the very front of the Unit without a stand. To make it secure we cut some 2x8 lumber into three pieces that ran from one end of the unit to the other (Left to Right). We drilled the wood into the unit from the side (screws were hidden when unit was pushed back into the wall) and installed the mount into the lumber running through the center of the entertainment unit.

There were tons of connection adapters and they even included extras in my packaging.
